Postnatal Pilates Class in Suffolk

Gently ease back into exercise after giving birth by targeting lengthened and weakened abdominal muscles, strengthening your pelvic floor and improving your posture. These classes are taught by NHS registered Midwife and experienced Pilates instructor and Core Restore Coach Nina Parnham

 

The benefits of postnatal Pilates are:

Classes are suitable for mums from 6 weeks after birth; including caesarean delivery from 10 weeks – if the wound has healed. If unsure, please email me to check first.

Babies are welcome to attend with mums up to 12 months. You can bring a separate mat, blanket or bouncer/bumbo to keep baby safe.

Postnatal Pilates is low impact and a great place to start after birth, aiming to strengthen deep core muscles, improve your stability, engage your pelvic floor and help you reconnect with your body after having a baby.

My focus is to support mothers and transform postnatal care

So often mums feel forgotten once their baby arrives. People visit to meet the baby, everyone asks how the baby is, you attend multiple appointments for the baby’s well-being. I want to change this and that is why I have developed classes designed just for mothers. I deliver safe and effective exercises tailored to your postpartum and motherhood needs.

It can be hard for mums to meet other like-minded mums who want to get out of the house, find the time for exercise and know what the right exercises are in the postpartum period.

With the convenience of a morning daytime in person class, you will be able to focus on your health and wellbeing both physically and mentally.

 

My classes are tailored to your postpartum needs.

If you have a prolapse, incontinence, pelvic girdle pain, or a diastasis (abdominal muscle separation) then these classes are safe for you. There is a large focus on pelvic floor engagement and exercise prescription. They are suitable for women who have birthed vaginally, had an instrumental assisted vaginal birth and a caesarean section.

    1 hour x 6 @ £65:00
    once booked – use the code provided and schedule your 6 sessions in straight away. These sessions must be booked in consecutively, and can not be rescheduled once booked
